Balinese Way of Governing Water: A Social Survey on Water Governance

The ever increasing human population demands more extraction of freshwater to fulfill our basic needs. This put pressure the already limited water resource. previous studies about governance concludes that local community needs be actively involved in an integrated resource management (IWRM) order maintain sustainability. Balinese has long been known as which always preserve due their belief wisdom. article aims investigate how wisdom play its role governance. social survey study was conducted using descriptive analysis. data collected Badung District Bali Province with purposive sampling 100 respondents who live for last 10 years and 17 old above. result shows may not really aware Tri Hita Karana Sad Kertih, but they are practising principle daily life. respect part nature must preserved.
